Costing Engineer - Automotive Manufacturing
Join our team in Portsmouth as a Costing Engineer and play a key role in driving commercial accuracy and market expansion within the automotive sector. You'll manage the end-to-end quotation process, providing the sales team with actionable insights rooted in detailed manufacturing costing and financial analysis. Key responsibilities:
- Partner with Business Development and Commercial teams to unlock revenue opportunities
- Lead bid management processes across multiple departments
- Deliver customer-centric proposals and manage bid documentation
- Facilitate value proposition sessions and ensure win strategies
- Manage contract reviews, ensuring quality and compliance
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in injection moulding or composites manufacturing preferred
- Strong bid management and quotation development skills
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Maths, Economics or equivalent experience
- Proactive, energetic, and able to work under pressure
