You will focus exclusively on New Business Motor Fleet, working closely with brokers to identify opportunities, win profitable accounts and grow the branch portfolio. This is a highly broker-facing role, with a strong emphasis on trading, relationship development and converting opportunities across the Mid-Market Fleet market.

The position will be based in Manchester with a hybrid working arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite Mid-Market Fleet business profitably and consistently.
• Develop strong relationships with brokers through regular engagement, visits and large case discussions.
• Work closely with brokers to identify opportunities, win profitable accounts and grow the branch portfolio.

The role offers plenty of exposure to the market, giving you the opportunity to establish yourself as a trusted trading partner and become the go-to contact for your broker panel.

Requirements

• Motor Fleet underwriting experience is preferred, although individuals from a broking background with strong Fleet knowledge who are looking to move into underwriting are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong broker relationship skills, commercial awareness and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.
