About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will plan and lead exhibitions and events primarily on-site, sometimes remotely. Collaborate closely with transport, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery aligned with company goals. This role involves strategic planning, risk and stakeholder management, and performance monitoring with a hands-on leadership approach. Expect frequent travel across the UK, Europe, and global locations, with extended periods away from home during expos, including weekend and long workdays.
Responsibilities
- Deliver projects on time and within budget
- Supervise company and subcontract teams
- Ensure client quality standards are met
- Manage daily progress reporting onsite
- Operate within client contracts and clear scope definitions
- Solve challenges dynamically to meet customer deadlines
- Lead planning and execution of expos and events
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience managing projects end-to-end
- Forklift or telehandler licenses desirable
- Construction site and exhibition industry experience a plus
- Strong team player with good computer skills (Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel)
- PRINCE2 qualification and Dynamics 365 experience beneficial
- "Hands on" attitude, excellent communicator, organized, and calm under pressure
- Eligible for CRB/DBS clearance
