Job Opportunity: Software Test Engineer - Auto Lighting (Short Term Contract)
Join a global Automotive Tier 1 client for a short-term contract role in software testing focused on automotive lighting. Work between Cheshire and Leamington Spa on cutting-edge lighting ECU integration including adaptive driving beam, dynamic rear lighting, and compliance with global vehicle regulations. You'll take part in full system software integration, validation, and vehicle-level testing while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate embedded software into lighting ECUs
- Conduct MIL, SIL, HIL, and vehicle-level testing
- Validate advanced lighting functions and ensure regulatory compliance
- Support vehicle integration and prototype builds
- Analyze OEM requirements and contribute to system engineering
