About the role
Abstract Recruitment is recruiting Vehicle Maskers to join a well-established automotive company based in Corby.
This is a professional automotive team role in a busy environment where attention to detail and high-quality preparation are essential.
Responsibilities
- Masking vehicle panels and components ready for painting
- Applying outline tape to designated areas
- Covering and bagging vehicles to protect panels from paint overspray
- Carrying out final preparation work before vehicles enter the paint booth
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to a high standard
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience masking vehicles ready for paint
- Good knowledge of automotive masking and preparation techniques
- Experience carrying out minor vehicle repairs before painting would be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards
- Reliable and able to work well as part of a team
