Join a major Defence organisation in a pivotal role as an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) Engineer, supporting the team leader as the Platform Authority for an Extra Large Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (XLAUV) demonstrator and the Equipment Authority for Torpedo Tube Launch and Recovery (TTLR) systems and AUVs. This role plays a key part in advancing autonomous submarine capabilities aligned with AUKUS initiatives, contributing to the development and evaluation of cutting-edge underwater technologies. Responsibilities include implementing CETUS Software Integrity Policy, managing software-related safety hazards, developing CETUS test plans, establishing data security, and liaising with regulators on autonomous systems guidance.
