This hybrid position located in Concord, NC demands presence three times per week. As an IndyCar Support Engineer for GM Motorsports, your main goal is to enhance on-track performance through simulation tools. Collaborate with race teams and engineers to perform analysis using both offline and driver-in-loop simulations. You will also assist in the development of simulation tools and provide feedback to drive vehicle and performance modeling. Deliver projects on-time, with the utmost standards.
Responsibilities
- Act as a performance support engineer for the IndyCar series.
- Integrate collected data into simulation models.
- Work within the simulation support team to enhance race team performance.
- Assist in vehicle dynamics simulation toolchain development.
- Advocate and represent race team needs during toolchain development.
