Job Description (Hybrid)

This hybrid position located in Concord, NC demands presence three times per week. As an IndyCar Support Engineer for GM Motorsports, your main goal is to enhance on-track performance through simulation tools. Collaborate with race teams and engineers to perform analysis using both offline and driver-in-loop simulations. You will also assist in the development of simulation tools and provide feedback to drive vehicle and performance modeling. Deliver projects on-time, with the utmost standards.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a performance support engineer for the IndyCar series.
  • Integrate collected data into simulation models.
  • Work within the simulation support team to enhance race team performance.
  • Assist in vehicle dynamics simulation toolchain development.
  • Advocate and represent race team needs during toolchain development.
