Job description

Expleo is seeking a Vehicle Electrical Circuit Engineer to join our client, a major automotive manufacturer in Staffordshire, on a permanent basis. We are looking for experienced professionals eager for a new challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize circuit logic
  • Ensure efficient electrical load distribution
  • Design and implement fusing strategies
  • Over current protection mechanisms
  • Wire and CAN Bus Design
  • 2D Harness Drawing Creation
  • Manufacture and repair harnesses
  • Voltage drop analysis
  • Component selection and development
  • Circuit diagnostic problem-solving

Qualifications:

  • Degree in a related field preferred
  • Experience in EDS engineering
  • Strong circuit design background
  • Experience in harness manufacture
  • Good understanding of vehicle systems
  • Knowledge in multiple electrical strategies and EMC practices
