Join our OEM Client in Gaydon as a Vehicle Safety Test Engineer within the Vehicle Safety Test Laboratory. This 12-month contract (with potential extensions until March 2026) offers you the chance to support key physical test activities in a laboratory. Your expertise will ensure tests are completed with precision, from assembly to data collection, maintaining safety and quality standards throughout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble test rigs and properties.
  • Operate control and data systems for robust outcomes.
  • Maintain and inspect equipment for optimal function.
  • Document test processes meticulously.

Desired Skills

  • Strong knowledge in test facility operations.
  • Proficiency in data acquisition.
  • Problem-solving capabilities.
  • Fluent in engineering communication.

Education: Engineering Apprenticeship, NVQ 3 minimum; a degree is desirable.
