Used Car Sales Manager

About the role

In this role you lead the used car department within a top UK automotive retail group, driving performance and profitability while delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will develop a high-performing team, manage campaigns, and steer the customer journey with integrity. You’ll partner across functions to promote finance and protection product sales in a compliant, customer-centric way. Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Business Managers, Sales Executives and support staff
• Drive used vehicle sales performance, profitability and efficiency
• Coach team with clear expectations to achieve targets
• Be actively involved in the customer journey at first and second facing stages
• Support sale of finance, GAP insurance and additional products in a compliant, customer-focused way
• Manage sales campaigns and promotions to maximise opportunities
• Maintain high standards of customer service, compliance and ethical selling

Requirements

• Previous sales management experience within the motor industry
• Proven track record of improving sales performance and profitability
• Excellent leadership, coaching and people management skills
• Ability to create a high-performing, customer-focused sales culture
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Commercial mindset with drive to deliver results
